Questa storia ha inizio a Matera nel 1976, quando i fratelli Nicola e Francesco Laurieri aprono un piccolo panificio nel centro di Matera, città nota in tutto il Paese per la qualità dei suoi prodotti da forno (Pane di Matera). Fino ai primi anni '90, la piccola impresa si dedica alla produzione e alla vendita al dettaglio dei prodotti realizzati e alla loro consegna ad altri panifici della zona. Sono passati alcuni anni, ma la passione per i sapori semplici e genuini è rimasta. I salatini Laurieri si trovano oggi ovunque si apprezzi la cultura del buon cibo italiano.
