The Twisted White Tea comes from the Gisovu Tea Estate in Rwanda, a plantation known for its top qualities. Gisovu is located in the Karongi district in western Rwanda, more precisely in the “Nyungwe Forest”, a national park not far from one of the sources of the Nile, which originates in the mountains of Rwanda. The garden is situated about 2,200 m above sea level and offers ideal growing conditions for teas of the highest quality. The owners themselves advertise “producing some of the best teas in the world, which are in international demand and highly sought after for their vivacity, aroma and exceptional quality”.
