Both ingredients of this tea, the Jinxuan Oolong as well as the leaves of the Nuo Mi Chiang plant (bot. Strobilanthes Nivea Craib) come from the mountainous region Chiang Rai in Northern Thailand. According to tradition, 90% of tea is blended with 10% of herbs, while the tea leaves were previously oxidized for approximately 8 hours. Together, they are then fermented again for another 16 hours. As a result, you receive a pleasantly mellow tea with an incomparable, intense scent and taste of cooked rice.

Osmanthus Oolong

Fans of the Chinese green tea classic “Sweet Osmanthus” will be absolutely enthused by this variety! The foundation of this select creation is the renowned tea plant Oolong N° 17. Immediately after the traditional production of this Oolong, exactly 6 kg of the tea are blended with 5 % freshly picked Osmanthus blossoms and stored in a closed sack for two days during which the complex taste profi le is developed. Afterwards, most blossoms are removed again through sieving. The result is a shiny, green Oolong leaf with a flowery-fresh Osmanthus flavour, combined with the tangy, flowery depth, which is so typical of longer fermented Oolongs.

Jinxuan Oolong

    Da oltre 50 anni nel nord della Thailandia, in particolare sulla montagna "Doi Phayapai", si producono eccezionali tè verdi oolong, che assomigliano o addirittura superano i Formosa Jade Oolong verdi già di altissima qualità. La base è costituita da piante di tè importate dagli altopiani di Taiwan, abbinate alla profonda conoscenza degli artigiani taiwanesi, che hanno sempre curato nei minimi particolari questo tipo di coltivazione e la migliorano anno dopo anno. Abbiamo selezionato una qualità che affascina con la sua foglia verde scura e finemente arrotolata. Dopo l'infusione, un distinto profumo floreale si dispiega nella frizzante tazza di un colore simile agli agrumi. Il bouquet aromatico e la dolcezza delicata ma decisa accompagnano le papille gustative per molto tempo dopo aver gustato questo tè davvero eccezionale.
