Bourbon: This Arabica variety originally comes from Yemen and was cultivated by the French on the island of Bourbon (now Réunion), from where it travelled to South America and Africa under the name Bourbon. The young Bourbon leaf is brownish-red and only later changes its colour to green. The leaves of the Bourbon variety are unrolled. The tea is characterised by a large, very voluminous leaf with a russet colour and a golden-orange infusion and, compared to the Kent varieties, has a mild, light and fruity touch.
This semi-fermented Kent variety, whose leaf is very reminiscent of high-quality oolong teas, also impresses in appearance with its shades of brown. The cup colour is golden-orange and has a mild, slightly sweet taste.
Enjoy cold winter evenings with the taste of this festive delicacy. A combination of wintry spices and fruity baked apple notes will perfectly unfold on our green tea base. Sweet blackberry leaves and cinnamon pieces yield this blend its special, sweet and spicy flavour.
The scent of ripe pears, butter, sugar and sweet chocolate chips all baked together in a mouthwatering cake are bound to awaken the festive spirit. Cocoa peel and candied ginger bits add a sweet, spicy twist to this green tea blend. This tea is the perfect match for any cake buffet..
Dream yourself away to snow covered mountains and to a cosy chalet on an idyllic mountain pasture. A warming cup of spicy, fruity tea enhances the pleasure of the refreshing view from ice-laced windows, which reflect the glittering golden-orange rays of the early morning sun. A pleasantly spicy cardamom note rounded off by a hint of mild cinnamon and combined with the tangerine’s tangy fruitiness will almost make this daydream come true.
