The Orange Valley tea estate received its name from the many orange trees located around the garden and is located at altitudes of 1,000 – 2,000 m. The up to 100-year-old tea shrubs, some even date back to the founding of the estate, yield this tea its exceptional flavour.

Located at the foot of the Himalaya Mountains, this tea plantation was founded some 170 years ago by a German missionary and is, thus, one of the eldest tea plantations in Darjeeling. Finest organic teas are produced at altitudes of 1,100 – 2,000 m.

According to legend, this tea garden was founded in 1885 by Buddhist monks and originally carried the name “Sidrabong”. Today, the plantation is called Arya and produces almost exclusively organic varieties of first class at altitudes of 850 to 1,800 m.

The Pussimbing plantation, located approx. 6 km west of Ghum railway station on the slopes of Tiger Hill, translates from the local dialect Lepcha as "an area surrounded by many streams". Since 1994, the Pussimbing, Lami Amp & Minjoo and Kothi Dhura sections have been cultivating and processing only pure Chinese shrubs, so-called Chinary bushes, organically at an altitude of around 1500 - 2000 metres. A beautiful, wiry leaf with a few tips and a sweet, flowery flavour with a lovely citrus taste.
