Deliciously fragrant bread sticks are an integral part of the Piedmontese art of baking. In 1675 Antonio Barbero, baker of the royal Savoy dynasty, invented this delicacy, which is now known as Grissini. They quickly became famous throughout Europe. Panificio Bo was founded in 1820 in Rocchetta Tanaro and still produces Grissini by hand following the Piedmontese tradition. A few select ingredients and a lot of time make up this original and delicious pastry. The Grissini from Panificio Bo are made without added fats and preservatives.
