This controlled organic tea comes from the small, remote island of Yakushima, located in the extreme south of Japan. The fascinating island, also known as “Oriental Galapagos”, is home to many endemic species and is largely characterized by untouched nature. It is, therefore all the
more important that the producer of this tea does not use any pesticides and insists on a tea production in harmony with nature. The matt black, finely twisted leaves produce a golden orange infusion and captivate with a wonderful, sweet fullness and subtle malty nuances - a real treat!
