Second Flush

The harvesting of second flush qualities starts from the end of June with the Invoice ca. DJ 100. The highpoint is at the beginning of July to Mid-July and the onset of the monsoon rains in August mark the end of the second flush period. The production amounts are similar to those of the first flush. The harvested teas are of highest quality and yield very aromatic teas.



- Leaf dark brown to black

- Glowing, copper coloured to golden-brown infusion and cup

- Taste is full-bodied, very aromatic and sometimes very spicy.

- Taste and scent of top qualities are more bloomy
