Sugar

Sugar is a natural product and is not coloured in order to improve its optic. A German law prohibits the use of colourants.

Hence, sugar is a basic substance of nutrition which is extracted from the plant without chemical assistance. It is a natural food, precious preservative and a quick energy booster which is non-replaceable for humans. It refines food and can trigger hidden fragrances and aromas.

Sugar is made from sugar beets or from sugar cane. Sugar cane only grows in tropical zones while the sugar beet grows in all countries where a moderate climate prevails.
