Production of Syrup Beans

Syrup Beans are produced using a similar process to our popular Tea Bears and our new TeaMotions^®:

Our special fruit gum mix is enriched with the intense flavours of our popular flavoured coffees. The coffee bean moulds of the Syrup Beans are first pressed into a bed of corn starch using a stamp, then the mixture is poured into the moulds.

The Syrup Beans then spend several days in an air-conditioned drying room, where they develop their unique texture and perfect bite. This drying process is crucial so that the fruit gums can later dissolve easily in hot coffee or tea.

As soon as the drops have acquired their shape and texture, they are removed from the moulds and undergo a special ‘powdering’ process. Here they are treated with a fine oil to refine their surface and achieve a glossy finish – just like classic gummy bears.

After this final refinement, the Syrup Beans are packaged and delivered to us in Hamburg, from where they make their way to you. And there's nothing to stop you enjoying them – whether as a flavoured hot drink or a delicious snack.
