Ingredients: black tea.
Ever since the Middle Ages, the number seven has been the numeric symbol for perfection and completeness in the world; God created heaven and earth in seven days! Royal ingredients and their noble, blazing colours, enrich this select blend of finest black and green teas. The full, fruity, sweet flavours from a rich and colourful fruit basket, worthy of an emperor, offer a great perfection of taste. A simply divine blend with lots of admirers!
Only few desserts are as well known as the sweet Crème Caramel dessert. Hardly anybody remembers how it was prepared at home and what a wonderful smell it spread through the kitchen. It is a pity that this well-known recipe with heated caramelised sugar and fresh eggs has been forgotten. Our tea creation fulfills highest expectations with its seductively sweet and creamy caramel flavor.
The Pussimbing plantation, located approx. 6 km west of Ghum railway station on the slopes of Tiger Hill, translates from the local dialect Lepcha as "an area surrounded by many streams". Since 1994, the Pussimbing, Lami Amp & Minjoo and Kothi Dhura sections have been cultivating and processing only pure Chinese shrubs, so-called Chinary bushes, organically at an altitude of around 1500 - 2000 metres. A beautiful, wiry leaf with a few tips and a sweet, flowery flavour with a lovely citrus taste.
Tumsong was founded in 1867 and has built up an excellent reputation over the years thanks to its outstanding quality. Here too, mainly original Chinary bushes are cultivated at up to 1,800 metres, producing a highly aromatic first flush with a beautiful floral and slightly nutty aroma. A garden that has undoubtedly earned its good reputation.
