Fans of the Chinese green tea classic “Sweet Osmanthus” will be absolutely enthused by this variety! The foundation of this select creation is the renowned tea plant Oolong N° 17. Immediately after the traditional production of this Oolong, exactly 6 kg of the tea are blended with 5 % freshly picked Osmanthus blossoms and stored in a closed sack for two days during which the complex taste profi le is developed. Afterwards, most blossoms are removed again through sieving. The result is a shiny, green Oolong leaf with a flowery-fresh Osmanthus flavour, combined with the tangy, flowery depth, which is so typical of longer fermented Oolongs.
