UVA
UVA lies in the south-east of the island Ceylon. This large cultivation
area is divided into eight districts. The best qualities are plucked
from July to September. Tea from UVA is characterised by its herb,
slightly sweet aroma which reminds somewhat of the taste of
cranberries. The dark, slightly red coloured cup reminds of tea from
Assam.
