Sikkim
This tiny, former kingdom situated in the North East of Darjeeling in
India is approximately of the same size as the Lueneburg Heath. Due to
a maximum altitude of 8,200 metres, almost all climatic zones, from
subtropical to arctic, are present. Annual harvest amounts are
expectedly low, but the teas are of exceptional quality, similar to
those of Darjeeling with an even softer cup.
