Colombia Supremo

grows in the region Medellin in the North West of Colombia and is an excellent example of the arabica beans harvested in this country which are distinguishable due to their soft, but at the same time very aromatic flavour. The most important growing regions are Medellin, Armenia and Manizales; their coffee grows under ideal climatic conditions. Guamos trees, banana trees, and a lot of clouds protect the plants from blasting heat and strong winds. Since 1808, when a priest brought the first plants from the French Antilles, Colombia developed towards one of the biggest exporters of high-quality, washed beans. The single variety arabicas can easily compete with the most expensive top-qualities of other countries.

Character & Taste:

Our Colombia Supremo has a very expressive and fruity aroma with a clearly exposed fullness. This coffee has the, for Colombian coffee so typical combination of a fine acidity and body and is, hence, an ideal, well-balanced coffee. Our Colombia Supremo will enthuse any coffee lover.
