12014Best of Brazil "Fazenda Lagoa" busta da 1kg
Our coffee grows on the farm Fazenda Lagoa which is well-known among connoisseurs. It is situated at the lake of the same name in the mountains of Minas Gerais, in the south-eastern interior part of Brazil, one of the most traditional and best plantation areas for coffee. With great consideration for the ecosystem and a lot of dedication and social responsibility, the Fazenda Lagoa, which comprises approximately 400 hectares, produces an estate coffee of very limited quantities (some 10,000 x 60 kgs bags per year). Brazil is the world's biggest coffee-producing country. The unwashed and sun-dreid beans are normally sold as Brazil Santos in order to distinguish them from the finer milds. Among numerous Arabica types, Brazil also produces a Robusta coffee. The qualities from the plants imported from French Guyana in 1720 vary a lot and offer something for every taste: the sorts growing in the north near the sea have a strong sea aroma, and the old Bourbon beans which are now again cultivated in the south-eastern Cerrado region are attractively mild-spicy with only little acid. Best of Brazil Fazenda Lagoa regularly receives top marks at international ratings. The taste offers to the connoisseur what a gourmet coffee from Brazil needs. Its well-balanced aroma reminds of chocolate, even more when cooled down. Its sweet softness and long-lasting aftertaste let each coffee lover fall into raptures.
